HISTORY:
UWATA GLORY SOUNDS STUDIO (UWATA GSS) was officially opened in October 2011, though the process of initiating was commenced 15th November 2009.This was officially done through apointing the special committee given the whole task of running the project -UWATA GLORY SOUNDS STUDIO (UWATA GSS). The project is the implementation of agreement reached during 2008 UWATA annual General Meeting; that each branch should own an enterprise.Since the intiatiation of the project the committee worked closely with the branch members to tackle all the challenges, firstly we surveyed our environmnet and concluded that the studio should be positioned closer to the branch office meanwhile it may be on another building but the area we looked into was busy; so we approached the owner who was also UWATA member, he agreed under condition that we shift him to another place not so far and build the house for him. When done with the above agreed condition we started constructing the studio building as well as its infrastructure.This project as explained above is owned by Bethania branch in Tabata Dar es salaam though the project seemed to be at the National level.

STUDIO LOCATION:
UWATA GSS is located at Tabata Machimbo- Mwangoka street; well known as "Kwa Walokole". The direction from Ubungo Bus terminal or any city corner is :If you can't afford private transport then take normal city transport for Tabata Kimanga route,then take any transport -Taxi/Motocycle explaining that you are going to Tabata Machimbo- Mwangoka street; well known as "Kwa Walokole"its about eight hundred (800) metres from the Tabata Kimanga bus stand.

INSTRUMENT GATHERING:
UWATA GSS purchased very modern digital studio instruments, which momentarily are the best instruments country wise as well as East African zone. Some pictures of instruments are found in the slide show above.

AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDING:
Audio and video recording is going on and some of our singers did recorded. Challenge in this department where by most singers don't meet the needed quality standard to be able to record.We should take into consideration that the only factor which can convince customers to purchase our products is Quality!!
So whoever planning to record in our studio wether individual or a group before making appointment with the studio management for recording, they should be well prepared and organized. If it happens that they are directed on a better way to echieve quality product during recording they should be peaceful and thankful. -
CANTEEN SERVICES:
We also have organized a canteen service where any one including clients and passer by may obtain canteen service. We serve at affordable rates for a meal and beverages. You all' most welcome!!
